Turkish parliament renewed by 63.49%

According to the preliminary results of the elections on May 14, hundreds of new deputies will be represented in the Turkish parliament of the 28th convocation,  reported from Anadolu Agency.

Of the 600 deputies, 335 will receive mandates for the first time. The parliament will also include 46 former elected representatives who sat in the parliament for the period up to the 27th convocation.

Thus, 381 legislators who were not represented in the previous composition of the supreme legislative body will have a seat in the new parliament.

Of the deputies of the 27th convocation, only 219 people were re-elected. That is, the composition of the parliament was updated by 63.49%.
