Türkiye has agreed with Russia to defer payments on natural gas bills worth $600 million until 2024, reported from TASS.

This was the first such postponement under the agreement announced last week. Delays in Turkish energy payments to Russia could reach $4 billion.

"Officially, the $600 million payment has been deferred until next year. Rising energy prices have had a huge impact,” one of the sources told the agency.
