Türkiye expects Azerbaijan-Armenia talks to culminate in peace treaty

Türkiye expects that the positive trend emerging in negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia will lead to the conclusion of a peace agreement, according to the declaration adopted following the meeting of Türkiye's Security Council chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the declaration, possible peace in the South Caucasus would benefit all regional players.

Additionally, the situation in Eastern Europe and the Middle East was discussed at the meeting.
