Türkiye is in close contact with the region's countries, including the Persian Gulf, to settle the crisis in Gaza, Turkish presidential adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic told the TRT Haber TV channel.

"The countries of the region are trying to ensure that Israel's aggressive actions do not lead to negative results on a regional scale. This region historically connects us with our neighbors and dictates the need for cooperation," he said.

For example, he pointed to relations with Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Jordan: "The steps taken by our President dictate the need for unity, which conditions our intensive contacts with the countries of the Persian Gulf, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar."
