(Baku Daily) - Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said his country will continue to boost partnership with Azerbaijan in all areas, Turkmen state media said.
He made the remarks during a meeting with the president of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovnag Abdullayev, who was participating in the Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Conference 2014 held on Nov 18-20 in Ashgabat, said Turkmen Dovlet Khabarlary (TDH) state news service.
Berdimuhamedov said Turkmenistan remains committed to bilateral agreements for the mutual benefit of both countries.
Abdullayev on his part expressed the need to further develop cooperation between both countries.
He said Turkmenistan's foreign policy and favourable investment climate have created a steady platform to build ties in all areas including the oil and gas sectors.
It was earlier reported that SOCAR is ready to offer a diversified system of oil and gas pipelines, infrastructure and other opportunities to Turkmenistan for implementation of projects in the oil and gas sphere.
