Armenia lost two more troops in fighting with Azerbaijani forces near the separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh on Jan. 5-6, Novosti Armenii reported.
They both were contract-based servicemen that lived in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian news website said.
That brings to four the total number of Armenians killed in Azerbaijan’s occupied territory in the past four days.
Two Armenian servicemen died in skirmishes with Azerbaijani forces east and south of Nagorno-Karabakh on the night of Jan. 2-3.
Armenia captured Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts in a war after the disintegration of the former Soviet Union in 1991.
Yerevan refused to comply with four UN Security Council resolutions calling for immediate and unconditional withdrawal from the occupied territory.
