The UK and Norway will co-lead a Maritime Capability Coalition that will offer a blueprint for the development of Ukraine’s Navy, reported from Defense Express.

The rebuilding effort has begun with the UK providing new ships and equipment.

The UK and Norway will provide the country with 20 Viking amphibious vehicles, 23 speedboats and 2 Sundown class minehunters.

These new additions will significantly enhance Ukraine’s ability to deploy troops and equipment on beaches and other coastal regions; conduct patrols and reconnaissance missions in coastal waters; launch swift attacks against enemy forces.

The Viking amphibious vehicles are particularly well-suited for these tasks, with their ability to navigate both land and water with ease. The speedboats, meanwhile, offer unparalleled agility and speed, making them ideal for various tactical operations.
