Ukraine’s air defense forces have shot down all 18 missiles of various types Russia launched at the country overnight Tuesday, said the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces, reported from Ukrinform.

At around 3:30 in the morning on May 16, 2023, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the north, south, and east, launching 18 air, sea, and land-based missiles of various types, the update reads.

"Six Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air ballistic missiles were launched from six MiG-31K aircraft, nine Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from warships in the Black Sea, and also there were three land-based missiles (S-400, Iskander-M),” reads the report.

In addition, on the night of May 16, the enemy launched attack drones of the Shahed-136/131 type, and also conducted aerial reconnaissance using three operational-tactical drones - Orlan-10 and SuperCam.

All of them were destroyed as well, according to the report.
