The Ukrainian concern Ukroboronprom has launched mass production of kamikaze drones like the Iranian Shahed 136, said the general director of the concern Herman Smetanin.

"It is produced in cooperation with foreign partners... The main thing is that they fly and explode, and the defense forces order them,” he noted.

However, the concern focused on the production of more complex and expensive projects, he said. In particular, this is the production of FPV drones. For this purpose, licensing agreements have already been concluded with three large companies.

Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones are already being produced in Ukraine. The production of the most advanced Turkish drones, Bayraktar Akinci, may also begin, but for this it is necessary to obtain permission from the Turkish government.
