Ukraine's chargé d'affaires summoned to Georgian Foreign Ministry

Ukraine's Chargé d'Affaires in Georgia Andrey Kasyanov was summoned to the Georgian Foreign Affairs Ministry over his statements on Georgian-Russian relations, reported from Imedi TV.
The diplomat was asked to explain his recent remarks.
On January 24, in an interview with the Ukrainian European Pravda newspaper, the charge d'affaires said the embassy will apply to international organizations for the mass evacuation of Ukrainians if direct flights between Russia and Georgia are restored.
He also noted in the interview that Georgia has officially determined the course of integration into the European Union and NATO. But the positive reaction of politicians in the ruling party to the possible resumption of air traffic with Russia means that the country is moving in a different direction.
