Russian air defenses shot down a fixed-wing Ukrainian drone above the country’s Saratov Region in the Volga Area on Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said, reported from TASS.

The region’s governor Roman Busargin wrote on Telegram that the drone had caused no damage.

"No injuries were reported, and no damage to infrastructure in populated areas. All facilities are operating as normal," he said in a statement.
