Russia is targeting to destroy Ukraine's infrastructure with missile attacks, Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense, said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

He said that the main targets of Russia are primarily the facilities of the military-industrial complex, headquarters, control systems, and separate units located on the front lines: "The weapons used by Russia are inaccurate. The opposite party does not achieve its goals. But unfortunately, it is mainly the civilian population that suffers from Russian missiles."

According to Skibitsky, the threat to Ukraine's energy systems remains.
