The Russians abducted thousands of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories, including in the Donetsk region. At the same time, Russia has left many traces of its crimes, which in the future will help bring the perpetrators to justice , reported from 24tv.ua.

The relevant investigation was conducted by the KibOrg News platform.

A team of journalists and IT specialists from KibOrg got access to the "state" database "Children of Donbass", which contains information about abducted children. KibOrg managed to identify the Mariupol collaborators involved in the crimes.

The information contains the register of adopted children, and the register of candidates for adoption and the register of guardians and trustees.

There is also information about children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. There is also the register of children, for various reasons, taken out of the occupied part of the Donetsk region.

This information, as the investigators note, is of high value in the search for children taken out of the occupied Donbass.

The KibOrg team reports that all information, including evidence of the abduction of Ukrainian children, as well as tens of thousands of questionnaires contained in the database, were transferred to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies for analysis.


It is noted that the collected materials will also be attached to the criminal proceedings of the International Criminal Court.
