UN calls on Azerbaijan, Armenia to ensure regional security

The UN calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to ensure security in the region, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-GeneralFarhan Haq said at a press conference.

"The UN Mission in Azerbaijan and Armenia continues to maintain contact with local authorities and international partners. The secretary-general called on all parties to reduce tension and ensure security in the region. We welcome their support for mediation efforts to reach agreements between the parties,” the representative of the organization said.
