UN says humanitarian convoy came under fire in Gaza

A humanitarian convoy returning from the northern Gaza Strip came under fire, head of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the enclave, Thomas White, said on Friday, reported from Interfax.
"Israeli soldiers fired at an aid convoy as it returned from Northern Gaza along a route designated by the Israeli Army - our international convoy leader and his team were not injured but one vehicle sustained damage - aid workers should never be a target," White said on the social network X.
The Israeli side has not yet commented on this incident.
