UN Security Council to hold meeting on Ukraine in December

The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on the situation in Ukraine in December, Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, permanent representative of India and president of the Security Council for December, said at a briefing.

Ukraine is in the focus of serious attention of the UN Security Council. There will be a meeting on Ukraine, the permanent representative noted.

Everyone wants a de-escalation of the situation. The UN very much hopes that sooner or later these de-escalation efforts will be successful, she added.
