Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta visited the Alley of Martyrs to pay his respects and to learn about the heroes of Azerbaijan.
News.Az reports that the information was disseminated by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Robert Cekuta was appointed US ambassador to Azerbaijan in December last year. On February 19, 2015, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the new ambassador.
Earlier, the position of US Ambassador to Azerbaijan was held by Richard Morningstar.
