NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expects the US Congress to quickly approve a new aid package for Ukraine, reported from TASS.

"I welcome the decision of the European Union to provide aid to Ukraine (50 billion euros over the next 4 years). I expect the US Congress to approve it soon," he said at the press conference held in Brussels on the eve of the meeting of defense ministers of NATO member countries.

Stoltenberg stressed that during his last visit to the US at the end of January, he held several meetings with Republican congressmen and convinced them to support the aid package for Ukraine.
