The administration of US President Joe Biden continues to consider Ankara an important NATO ally, John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council, said at a briefing for journalists.

He noted that the US reserves the right of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to comment on its statements.

He emphasized that the Turkish leader made a positive contribution, in particular, to the implementation of the Black Sea grain initiative.
