Utair aircraft makes emergency landing in Russia due to unfavorable weather conditions

Russian airline Utair en route Irkutsk - Ust-Kut made an emergency landing at Bratsk Airport on Tuesday, East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said, reported from TASS.

"On January 14 at around 09:00 am local time, a Utair airline aircraft en route Irkutsk - Ust-Kut route landed at Bratsk aerodrome due to unfavorable weather conditions at the destination airport. The landing was successful. The flight is planned to be operated at 02:30 pm if weather conditions become favorable. The Bratsk Transport Prosecutor's Office is implementing control measures to protect passengers' rights regarding services during the flight delay,” reads the statement.
