Eurovision Ireland had the good fortune to meet Emin when he was in Dublin promoting the release of his new album ‘More Amor’ and the singles ‘Footsteps’ (in Ireland) and ‘Woman’ internationally.
All Eurovision fans will remember Emin from him amazing interval act at the grand final of Eurovision 2012 in Baku – his home city – where he descended from the roof of the Crystal Hall to perform ‘Never Enough’.
We had a fascinating interview with Emin where we went through his career from its beginnings to pivotal moments in it.
Music collaborations have a key feature in Emin’s career and several that we spoke of with him were that with Loboda (Ukraine Eurovision 2009), Ani Lorak (Ukraine Eurovision 2008) and his current International release ‘Woman’ with Australian sing Charly Williams.
What of the man behind the music? We spoke to Emin about his family life and how he balances work and his children and wife.
What does the future hold? Well tune into the interview where Emin talks of the plans for the immediate future -that involves tours across Europe – and his long-term hopes for his career.
Did you know that Emin is the BIGGEST Elvis Fan? We had an inkling but we didn’t know the full extent.
Europe and America beckons and Emin is ready for the challenge.
Emin’s New album is called ‘More Amor’ and the singles ‘Footprints’ (available in Ireland) and ‘Woman’ are now on release.
