Volodymyr Zelenskyy: There will be no peace talks with Russia
Despite the calls of some international partners, peace talks with Russia are out of the question, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his interview with Finacial Times.
According to him, the interests of Kyiv and the west could diverge: "Death, destruction, and anger over Russian war crimes have toughened Ukrainian public opinion against compromises with Moscow. Some allies fear a Ukrainian attempt to retake Crimea could lead to a dangerous escalation by Putin, possibly with nuclear weapons.”
