White House orders its diplomats not to attend Putin’s inauguration

The US administration has ordered that representatives of the US Embassy in Moscow not attend the inauguration of Russian President Vladimir Putin, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at a regular briefing for journalists, reported from TASS.

According to her, the US leadership instructed its embassy not to attend the inauguration. According to Jean-Pierre, the US thus protested against the war in Ukraine.

On May 7, the inauguration of Russian leader Vladimir Putin took place in Moscow. He took office as President of Russia for the fifth time.
