Speaking at the budget debates in the Turkish Grand National Assembly on December 13, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that several steps would be taken to normalize relations with Armenia.
Special envoys will be appointed as part of steps to regularize ties with Armenia. They will hold a direct dialogue between the two countries.
The minister also said that Turkey intends to open charter flights to Armenia, adding that Ankara will act jointly with Baku in this direction.
The Former Turkish Ambassador to the United States, Serdar Kilic, has been appointed the country's special representative on normalizing ties with Armenia.
