Lads discover bizarre 'alien egg' circle on surface of frozen lake

The footage, which recently surfaced on Facebook, shows a collection of white crystals in a perfect circle.
Partly entombed in the ice, the unnatural display stands in clear contrast to the thick white snow surrounding it.
When two lads venture to touch the crystals, they describe them as "slimy" and "gross" before suggesting it's "alien eggs".
It comes after a recent surge in mysterious objects discovered in photos of Mars.
One shows what has been claimed to be a series of entrances to underground space bases.
Another shows a massive dome which some said "cannot be natural" on a martian hill.
It follows NASA's announcement that water – one of the primary ingredients for life – had been found on Mars.
The video of the crystals has now been uploaded to YouTube, where it has since gone viral, being watched more than 159,000 times.
Yet no one seems to be able to explain the how the otherworldly formation could have come to appear.
On Reddit, one commenter suggested the shapes were white oil-based paint that had been dumped after a decorating job.
They wrote: "A big blob of off-white paint then spread out into a circular pattern. Paint can solidify into strange shapes.
"Also oil paint wouldn't immediately turn to ice but would remain squishy for a while."
But they had no answer when asked why the crystals, reportedly found in the American state of Utah, were so uniform.
It was also suggested that the crystals were the frozen milky contents of a Starbucks cup found nearby.
But others fancied a stranger explanation, with one person writing on YouTube: "I'm not saying it was made by aliens, but it was made by aliens."
