Groupings of Belarus, Russian troops hold joint exercises

Belarusian and Russian groups of troops held joint military exercises. The maneuvers involved motorized rifle and tank units, air defense units and other special forces, reported from the Belarusian media.

This became known during a visit by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground in the Brest region.

At the moment, the Russian military is also at the training ground - this is part of the joint Belarusian-Russian group of troops deployed to strengthen the defense of the Union State on the territory of the republic.
