Russia is considering replacing its ambassador to Armenia, according to the Armenian newspaper Hraparak.

The decision comes in the wake of recent statements by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about the country's potential withdrawal from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

"Russia will change its ambassador in Armenia, and they are going to send a rather serious figure to Yerevan," the newspaper reports.
