Russian President Vladimir Putin and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh are set to discuss regional challenges and explore avenues for cooperation in various sectors, including industry, agriculture, and energy, during their upcoming meeting, according to Yuri Ushakov, the Russian president's aide on international affairs.

"The talks will focus on promising areas of collaboration between our countries, such as cooperation in industry, agriculture, energy, and transportation, including rail transport," Ushakov told reporters. "Naturally, international and regional issues will also be touched upon. Special attention will be given to matters of education, expanding the teaching of the Russian language, and training Mongolian youth in Russian universities."

The upcoming presidential meeting is expected as part of Putin's state visit to Mongolia on September 2-3.
