Israeli and UK top diplomats discuss Middle East situation

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar had a phone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Sa’ar said on X.

"We discussed the dramatic developments in Syria, the need to protect its minorities and the security ramifications for Israel. We also discussed the ceasefire in Lebanon, the situation in Gaza and the opportunity to achieve a hostage deal,” the Israeli top diplomat said.

"Israel is a pillar of strength and stability in a turbulent region and will remain so!” Sa’ar stressed.
