Serbian deputy prime minister: Belgrade will never join Western sanctions against Russia
23.12.2024 10:00
Serbia will never join Western sanctions against Russia, despite external pressure, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin said in an interview with Chinese TV channel CGTN.

"The West always puts pressure on Serbia, they ask us to impose sanctions against Russia, stop Chinese investments, and follow everything that the EU and US do, but we are an independent state. We will never impose any sanctions against Russia," said the deputy prime minister.

He added that he is "not optimistic about changes in US policy towards Serbia" following the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
