Residents of Aktau city in Kazakhstan have again lined up at hospitals to donate blood for those injured in the crash of an AZAL aircraft, reported from Kazakh press.
"It's 8 AM in Aktau. Kazakhstanis have again lined up to donate blood for those injured in the plane crash," a report said.
An Embraer passenger aircraft belonging to AZAL, operating the Baku-Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan on December 25. Among the 67 people on board, 42 were citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 of Russia, 6 of Kazakhstan, and 3 of Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the crash, 38 passengers died, while 29 survived, including 3 children.
President Ilham Aliyev signed an order declaring a one-day mourning in Azerbaijan to commemorate the victims of the tragic crash.
