Head of Iran's state broadcaster: Iranian correspondent taken hostage in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces have taken a correspondent of Iranian state television and radio company hostage in the Gaza Strip, according to the company's head Peyman Jabali,reported from TASS.

It is noted that "the journalist is in custody and is still in captivity, but not in Gaza." He is in Israel.

"We hope that he will be released soon," ISNA news agency quotes him as saying.
