Contacts on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict will be held in particular next week in Saudi Arabia, US President Donald Trump said on February 13 before talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the White House, reported from TASS.

"Tomorrow, there's a meeting in Munich, and then next week there's a meeting in Saudi Arabia, not with myself or President Putin, but with top officials. And Ukraine will be a part of it too," he said.

He confirmed that the US wants to end the Ukrainian conflict.

Earlier Trump said that Russian and US officials would hold talks on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on February 14. He also confirmed that he expected to meet Putin in Saudi Arabia. Trump responded affirmatively to a request to clarify whether he expected this meeting in the kingdom.
