Progress in talks between Russia, US possible in coming months

For the first time in many years, talks between US and Russian officials have begun in Riyadh, reported from Russian media.
Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, stated that progress in negotiations between the two countries is possible in the next 2-3 months.
The meeting will primarily focus on restoring Russia-US relations.
In addition, the issue of Ukraine settlement will also be discussed during the talks.
The Russian side in the negotiations is represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov. The US team includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
