Nearly 100 homes were destroyed in Tajikistan after the earthquake

Nearly 100 residential homes were destroyed, and several dozen more were damaged following an earthquake that struck Tajikistan on April 13, killing one child, local authorities said.
According to TASS, the Crisis Management Center of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the government of Tajikistan confirmed the damage.
Preliminary data indicates that in five villages of the Rasht district, 40 homes were completely destroyed, five were partially damaged, along with three teahouses and one auxiliary school building.
In the village of Ushturpasta, a three-year-old child was killed after being trapped under a collapsed wall, the committee confirmed.
In the Tajikabad district, 54 homes were reported completely destroyed, 45 partially damaged, and 61 sustained minor damage. Two school buildings also suffered light damage, while 196 auxiliary structures were completely destroyed. Additionally, three teahouses and one medical facility sustained partial damage.
