Trump expects swift resolution on Iran talks

U.S. President Donald Trump said he hopes for a swift resolution to the Iran issue amid ongoing consultations between Washington and Tehran.
“I’ve met with different people regarding the Iran problem, and we will make a decision very quickly,” he told reporters.
A second round of U.S.-Iran talks is scheduled for April 19 in Rome.
According to the White House, the first round of negotiations, held in Oman, took place in a constructive atmosphere. The U.S. side is seeking to shift the format from indirect talks via intermediaries to direct engagement.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also described Saturday’s consultations as constructive.
