Eastern Turkey hit by 4.9-magnitude earthquake

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Turkey, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
According to the EMSC, the quake’s epicenter was located 44 kilometers southwest of Elazig province, home to around 298,000 people. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
