Erdogan holds talks with Meloni in Rome

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was officially welcomed in Rome on Tuesday, April 29, Anadolu Agency reported.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni greeted the Turkish leader at the Villa Pamphili residence. The two exchanged a handshake and posed for a photo.

The leaders introduced members of their respective delegations before starting a bilateral meeting.

Erdogan is in Rome to attend the fourth Turkey–Italy intergovernmental summit.
