Trump says he plans to discuss space weapons with Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he plans to raise the issue of military space developments with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a future conversation.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the two leaders did not discuss the topic during their May 19 phone call, which focused on Ukraine and ceasefire efforts.
“We didn’t talk about it. But we will discuss it at the appropriate time,” Trump said, declining to provide further details.
The statement comes amid U.S. concerns over Russia’s alleged development of space-based nuclear weapons.
