US senator to launch probe into Biden's health while in office

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican from Wisconsin, said he plans to launch an investigation into former President Joe Biden’s health during his time in office, Axios reported on Wednesday.
Johnson, a member of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and its Subcommittee on Investigations, said he intends to send inquiries to “a couple dozen people” to determine who was effectively running the government.
“We have to do it. I mean, [we need to find out] who was actually in charge,” Axios quoted him as saying.
On May 18, Biden’s office disclosed that the 82-year-old former president had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer with bone metastases. President Donald Trump questioned the timing of the diagnosis, implying that the information may have been withheld.
