Türkiye ready to host new round of Ukraine peace talks

Türkiye has expressed its readiness to host a new round of peace negotiations on Ukraine. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan confirmed during talks in Moscow that the republic is prepared to facilitate the next round of negotiations and provide any support needed to resolve the conflict.
Report informs via Hurriyet that Fidan is in Moscow on a two-day visit at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. On May 26, he met with Vladimir Medinsky, aide to the Russian president and head of the Russian delegation during the Istanbul talks with Ukraine on May 16. Fidan was also received by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Another important topic during the talks, as noted by Hürriyet, is the situation in Syria. "Ankara wants Russia to continue supporting the political and territorial integrity of Syria," the publication states.
The agenda of Fidan's meetings in Moscow also includes bilateral relations between Türkiye and Russia.
