Ukrainian drones attack

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a massive drone attack using fixed-wing UAVs on the Russian-occupied Kherson region, the region's Russian-appointed "governor" Vladimir Saldo reported.
"A massive attack on the Kherson region with strike UAVs is underway right now. Several drones have already been shot down," he wrote on his Telegram channel. Saldo added that Russian air defense forces are continuing their operations.
At the same time, explosions were reportedly heard in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, presumably from Russian air defense operations. "Explosions can be heard in Melitopol. Details are being clarified. Preliminary reports indicate that air defense systems are active. Power outages have been recorded in some areas of Melitopol," said a statement from the city's appointed administration.
It was also reported that the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia region was completely left without power as a result of AFU strikes damaging high-voltage equipment. "High-voltage equipment in the northwestern part of Zaporizhzhia was damaged due to AFU shelling. The entire region is without electricity," wrote the Russian-appointed "governor" Yevgeny Balitsky on Telegram.
Additionally, the "press secretary of the governor" of Kherson region, Vladimir Vasilenko, stated that several municipal districts of the region were partially without power following the massive drone attack by the AFU.
