Israel strikes Iran in multiple waves

Israel has launched at least five waves of airstrikes against targets across Iran, with hundreds of strikes reported, Times of Israel cited a military source as saying on Friday.
Iran’s state broadcaster confirmed that a military base in the city of Borujerd, Lorestan Province, was among the targets. However, Iran’s oil distribution company said that refineries and oil storage facilities were not damaged in the attacks.
In response to the escalating situation, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei appointed Habibollah Sayyari as acting chief of the General Staff and Ahmad Vahidi as commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to Nour News.
