Six Iranian nuclear scientists killed in Israeli strike — Tasnim

Six Iranian nuclear scientists were killed in Israel’s airstrikes on Iran, Iranian news agency Tasnim reported on Friday.
The victims were identified as Abdolhamid Manouchehr, Ahmadreza Zolfaghari, Seyed Amirhossein Fiqhi, Matlabezadeh, Mohammadmehdi Tehranchi, and Fereydoun Abbasi. The report said the strike aimed to cripple Iran’s scientific and technological capabilities.
Mohammadmehdi Tehranchi was the rector of Iran's Azad University and a prominent nuclear physicist. Fereydoun Abbasi, who once headed the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, survived an assassination attempt in 2010.
