Peskov warns U.S. intervention in Iran-Israel conflict could lead to wider escalation

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday that direct U.S. involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict could lead to its expansion across the region, Russian media reported.
"U.S. intervention in the conflict could escalate the situation and broaden the scope of the confrontation," Peskov said.
He added that Russia and Iran continue contacts at various levels:
"As the President noted, we have a partnership relationship. There are multiple channels of dialogue, and these contacts will remain ongoing," Peskov said.
