Israel may strike Iran’s Fordow without U.S. help

Israel is prepared to strike Iran’s underground nuclear facility in Fordow without U.S. assistance, Channel 12 reported, citing Israeli officials. Jerusalem reportedly does not intend to wait indefinitely for President Donald Trump’s decision.
Fordow, buried under 90 meters of rock, is one of Iran’s most fortified nuclear sites. Former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant acknowledged that only the U.S. possesses the GBU-57 “bunker buster” bomb capable of destroying it.
According to CBS News, President Trump is weighing the option of joining Israeli strikes on Iran. Fordow is viewed as a key target due to its role in uranium enrichment. Sources say Trump believes neutralizing the site is critical to stopping Iran’s weapons ambitions.
