Iran hopes for Russian help to rebuild damaged infrastructure

Russia may assist Iran in rebuilding its damaged infrastructure if needed, Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali said in an interview with TASS.
He said the support would be in line with the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership agreement, under which the two countries aim to ensure regional stability and jointly resist unilateralism.
Jalali added that Russia could also act as a mediator to ease regional tensions.
On June 13, Israel launched “Rising Lion,” a military operation targeting Iran’s nuclear and defense facilities.
The United States joined the campaign on June 22, striking sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. U.S. President Donald Trump claimed Iran’s nuclear program was completely destroyed.
