Erdogan awards Kazakhstan’s Tokayev Turkey’s highest state order

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has awarded Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev the “Devlet Nişanı”, Turkey’s highest state decoration.
Erdogan praised Tokayev for transforming his country into a source of peace and stability, and for advancing cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States. He said Tokayev’s leadership had deepened the friendship between the two nations.
The ceremony followed the 5th High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting between Turkey and Kazakhstan.
