Macron asked Trump to defend his wife’s honor

American journalist and commentator Candace Owens has revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump called her in February regarding her investigation into the alleged transgender identity of French First Lady Brigitte Macron.
Speaking in an interview with Tucker Carlson, Owens said Trump appeared "confused" after a private conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
“He said Macron pulled him aside not to talk about the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but to ask if he knew someone named Candace Owens,” she recalled. Owens has previously referred to Macron’s wife as a man.
According to Owens, Macron urged Trump to "shut her up" and stop her from speaking about his wife in public.
