Apple is developing a fingerprint recognition feature for its smartwatches that could debut in the Apple Watch Ultra 4 early next year, according to the company’s report cited by local media.

Because of the limited size of the devices, integrating the Touch ID sensor has been technically challenging. Apple is expected to combine the sensor with a button, similar to its iPad Air series, or place it beneath the screen, a method already used in some Android phones.
